Membership Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to PRIA members:

Constitution, code of ethics and by-laws

All members are bound by the PRIA Constitution, Code of Ethics, and all by-laws, notices and directives of PRIA.

Failure to accept conditions of membership

PRIA members are required to indicate their acceptance of all terms and conditions of membership. New applications and renewals will not be processed until confirmation is received.

Failure to pay

PRIA membership fees are due annually on the 1st July. If a member does not pay their membership fees, they will cease to be a PRIA member and all membership benefits will cease. If an individual's membership does lapse or is resigned that individual must not use any PRIA post nominal or claim to be a member of the PRIA.

Cancellation/refund policy

Membership fees will not be refunded by PRIA except where:

  • an application for membership is declined by the PRIA;
  • exceptional circumstances prevent a member from continuing their membership.

Written applications to the National Membership Officer will be assessed on a case by case basis.

Transfer of membership

PRIA memberships are individual and non-transferable.

Costs incurred by PRIA in processing membership fees

All unexpected costs incurred by PRIA in the processing of membership fees will be charged back to the member. Such costs include, but are not limited to, bounced cheques fees and related bank charges.

Access to member only section the PRIA website

PRIA members receive access to the member only section of the PRIA website and to their personal records. Members should protect their username/login code and password information at all times and must not divulge such information to any other Person.
