Richard Amos, who studied methods of evaluating public relations strategies used by US professionals. His Fellowship enabled him to complete a Master of Science degree in mass communication at San Jose State University, California.
Gai Brodmann, was to identify and establish long-term public relations strategies for promoting Australia’s manufacturing strengths in north-east Asian countries. Her Royce Fellowship took her to Austrade offices in Canberra and in Asia.
Karen Thompson, attended the IPRA World Congress in Toronto to further her knowledge and understanding of public relations by meeting some of the leading international practitioners. She also participated in a student exchange program at Trenton College, New Jersey, USA.
Alexandra Roberts, conducted a research project in Europe and reported on developments in communication planning by large organisations, which were prompted by the formation of the European Community.
Michael O’Connell, used his Royce Fellowship to study for a Master’s degree in Public Communication at the American University in Washington, DC.
The last Fellowship was jointly awarded in 2005 to Lidia Sakarapani and Alyssa Sharples to research the role of public relations and media relationships in China.
