Events and Training Overview

PoweR Day

The PoweR Day is PRIA’s new model of professional development. Instead of presenting one program a month in major capital cities, multiple offerings will be available in clusters once a quarter. Having more activities in the one day aims to build a sense of community through formal and informal learning, seminars and networking.

A typical Power Day day offers a breakfast presentation, simultaneous strands of training workshops – half-day and full-day - pitched at different levels of membership, a luncheon seminar and networking events with topical discussions. The various offerings can be booked singly or in combination. Click here to see the membership stages in the PRIA educational framework.

A special interstate price will be offered to help members with airfares when topics are only available in another state. Major PR skills workshops will be available in all states, but not in every quarter. Contact PRIA to obtain the interstate travel code to ensure your discount at registration.

The Power Day offers our members and guests the choice of attending all day activities at special member prices or selecting individual sessions. Whatever suits you best, we look forward to seeing you there!

Cancellation Policy

Refunds less a $50 administration charge are available online 14 days prior to the event. If you cancel your registration for a course or workshop less than 14 days before it is scheduled to take place, your payment is non-refundable.

Substitutions may be made at any time before the start of the course or workshop provided that they meet any advertised prerequisites for the session.

If the course or workshop is cancelled by PRIA for any reason, you will be refunded your original payment in full. PRIA is not liable for any travel, accommodation or other costs that you may have incurred in relation to the cancelled course or workshops.
