As a corporate communicator, do you understand the impact of your public relations strategies on your company’s political agenda? And vice versa – are you comfortable with how your company’s government relations strategy will play out in the media?
Within today’s 24-7 news cycle where news is breaking instantly online and beyond, there is little margin for error when it comes to media strategy, and this means that communications and government relations teams have to work together better and more closely than ever before.
Just as our industry needed to conquer the divide between PR and Marketing/Advertising, we examine Government Relations specifically as part of our toolkit, and look to understand how all the functions are intrinsically linked.
This “Q&A-style” panel event is for all communicators who want to gain an insight into how political media and government relations works, and how it can work for your campaigns and communications strategy.
The panel will consist of some of Australia’s leading experts from the fields of both government and corporate affairs, who will deliver relevant case studies and give you the opportunity to ask questions.
