Introduction to Measurement for PR and Corporate Communciation
September 1, 2007Join an internationally recognised communication research and measurement expert in a one-day intensive workshop to be introduced to the key principles of measurement including pre-campaign measurement for planning as well as post-campaign measurement for evaluation of results and ROI; the main research methodologies used for measurement including low cost and simple methods as well as Best Practice; show samples of measurement of various types of activities and answer questions.
Beneficial for:
- Practitioners with little or no experience in research previously;
- Practitioners from other fields entering PR and corporate communication.
* Practitioners with some experience in research and measurement already and wanting in-depth training should see our advanced workshop.
Workshop Facilitator – Dr Jim Macnamara
Jim is the author of 11 books on media and communication and an internationally sought speaker, trainer and consultant on measuring communication campaigns. He holds a BA in journalism, media studies and literary studies; an MA by research in media studies; and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in media research, but also has 25 years practical experience in the media and PR. He is currently General Manager – Research for Media Monitors Group and CARMA International Asia Pacific.
