Established in 1976, the Golden Target Awards have recognised excellence in public relations for 39 years. The awards celebrate the achievements of the Public Relations Institute of Australia’s (PRIA) members and identify innovative and exciting communications programs.
The Golden Target Awards have run continuously since 1976, recognising and rewarding excellence in public relations and communication in Australia. The evolution of the awards in 2015 sees 12 new categories added, totaling 29 award categories for various industry sectors; Top sPRinters in 2015 (professionals with less than five years experience), Best Content Marketing, Best Micro Consultancy, Best Large Consultancy, Best Digital and Social, Best Technology, Best Big Budget, Best Integrated Marketing and Communication Campaign Strategy, Best Startup (launched in 2014/15 financial year), Best Experiential and Best International Campaigns of the Year. Additional individual gongs complete this year's bill: Industry Contributor of the Year, and Best Individual Transformation into the Industry.
PRIA now invites members to submit entries for campaigns executed and evaluated in the 12 months leading up to 30 June 2015.
All Golden Target Award categories recognise the achievements of an individual entrant or team who created and managed the campaign. The Consultancy and In-house Team of the Year categories recognise the managing director, principal or team leader.
A panel of public relations leaders and industry sector experts assess entries in each category of the Golden Target Awards, and select the winners, and the commended/highly commended entrants, at both the state and national levels. The coordinators of each panel report to the Golden Target Awards Executive Chairs, who are responsible for ensuring consistency of judging standards across all categories. You can read more about the categories in the entry kit or by clicking on the button below.
