Arm yourself with all the tips, techniques, tools and rules to play the media game. This workshop will teach you how to get maximum media release coverage, whether you’re new to PR, trying to break into PR or perhaps just want to develop your media writing skills.

Introducing Wendy McGuinness

Wendy McGuinness, is a dynamic and qualified trainer who brings to her workshops the benefit of nearly 20 years’ experience as a senior journalist, high-level communications advisor and polished presenter.

As a journalist, Wendy worked for the national talk radio network and the ABC, in radio, television and online news. She has been an on the road reporter, as well as an editor, newsreader and producer. In the mid 1990’s, Wendy spent three years as a media advisor with NSW Police, honing her skills in media management and crisis communication. Later, with Tourism New South Wales, Wendy was able to broaden her expertise in pro-active media engagement.

Wendy delivers training, coaching and advice that cater to your needs and level of experience. The aim is always to equip you with the skills and confidence to meet your communications challenges. A journalism degree and a certificate IV in Training and Assessment add weight to Wendy’s considerable practical experience in communication.
