Professor Matthew Ricketson (Chair) was the Media and Communications editor of The Age newspaper prior to becoming University of Canberra's first Professor Of Journalism in 2009. Professor Ricketson started his career in journalism on newspapers in suburban Melbourne in 1981. He then worked on publications including The Age, The Australian and Time Australia, before taking the first in a Series of teaching and research roles at RMIT in 1993. |

David Higgins is the editor of News Digital Media's News.com.au website and a former editor of Fairfax's SMH.com.au site. David began his career with News Limited as a reporter for The Australian before moving to The Sydney Morning Herald in 1997. In 2007 he returned to News Ltd as editor of News.com.au, which has a monthly audience of up to 4.4 million Australians. |

Tim Burrowes (Panelist) is Founder and Editorial Director of media and marketing website Mumbrella and Editorial Director of its parent company Focal Attractions. Tim founded Mumbrella in September 2008 after two years as Group Editor and Associate Publisher at marketing, media and advertising magazine B&T. |

Isabelle Oderberg (Panelist) is Interviews Editor and Senior Journalist of Business Spectator - a real-time, 24-hours-a-day business news and commentary website. Prior to joining Business Spectator, Isabelle gained extensive experience on newswires, including a five-year stint in London, working on the online desk at Reuters, as an investigative reporter at Professional Pensions magazine and as a senior reporter and sub-editor at Dow Jones Newswires. |

Kylie Merritt (Panelist) is Channel Manager of Sky News Business Channel and has more than10 years experience as a television reporter, producer and presenter; most of that time specialising in business and finance news and information. In 2006, Kylie co-founded Pinstripe Media, a niche production company specialising in business and finance media. |
