Burson-Marsteller Provides the Solutions for Siemens

Sydney, Australia - 18 February 2010 - Burson-Marsteller Australia (B-M) today announced it will be offering public relations support for Siemens, one of the Australia's most innovative technology-based solutions providers. B-M will be rolling out innovative and strategic PR campaigns across all eight solution areas including water, energy, environment, healthcare, productivity, mobility, safety and security as well as supporting ad-hoc projects.

Since adding Siemens to its portfolio of retainer clients, B-M has provided media relations support for several of Siemens' projects including their Stormwater Harvesting initiative. Under the project, runoff water from the Siemens corporate headquarters in Mountain Highway, Victoria, is captured and treated for use in irrigating the local Bayswater Oval. The project will save an estimated 19 mega-litres of water every year - the equivalent of seven Olympic-sized swimming pools. B-M leveraged the attendance of recognised industry experts to secure significant television coverage on Channel 7 and to generate positive exposure for Siemens.
