Gray Management Group Directors, Cathy Gray and Lee Jameson, today announced the appointment of two key executives within the group to form and manage the Public Relations division and Marketing and Brand division within GMG.
Greg Kavanagh, formerly of Jamshop, joins GMG as Manager – Marketing and Brand, and Melissa Behn takes up the role of Manager – Public Relations. GMG are appointing two additional Senior Public Relations Specialists to support the growing PR requirements of the group, and these will be announced shortly.
Greg has over 15 years experience on both the agency and client side in marketing management, brand development, design and project management.
Most recently Greg held the position of Client Services Director at Jamshop managing a team of Account Directors, and also working with an impressive portfolio of clients including National Pharmacies, Statewide Super, HomeStart Finance, SA Health, Department of the Premier and Cabinet and Department of Trade and Economic Development. Greg has also worked in brand and marketing management roles with Elders Limited and WorkCover Corporation.
Lee Jameson, Director of GMG said, “These appointments are aligned with our overall strategy of integrated communications; the success and growth of our marketing and branding service has allowed us to obtain the highly respected and experienced Greg Kavanagh. Greg will bring with him incredible experience, and talent to the group and we are looking forward to the growth of the department that he will lead.”
Melissa Behn will continue working with senior accounts within the group, under her management role. “Melissa is a highly valued senior member of the GMG team and has worked incredibly hard for her clients to develop successful integrated campaigns. Her intrinsic understanding of GMG and how we work will allow for a successful integration between the PR and Marketing departments of the group that will benefit clients of GMG and the long term growth and sustainability of the group,” said Cathy Gray.
The appointments follow GMG’s strategy for integrated communications, greater service offerings and a holistic approach to clients and their marketing lead requirements. Employee growth will continue over the upcoming 12 months to support the structure within the group.
