Avoid death by PowerPoint

Death by PowerPoint was a webinar that focused on the do's and don'ts of PowerPoint today. The new blood of social media has captured everyones attention, people are forgetting how to put a simple PowerPoint together without it looking crowed or messy. Powerpoint expert Greg Ward teaches us how.

Greg Ward is a communications specialist who is now recognized as New Zealand’s leading media coach. He trains newsmakers and presenters all over New Zealand and Australia, with clients including leaders in business, sport and entertainment. Greg has also trained MP's and political party leaders during two general elections.

With expertise in media training and presentation skills, Ward is also a specialist in presenting with PowerPoint, and coaches individuals, companies and government agencies on how to avoid Death by PowerPoint. Greg's long media career has spanned across Australia and New Zealand. He first worked as a television reporter for Sydney's Ten Network, then becoming a London correspondent for radio stations 2GB and 3AW in late 1980's.

Greg has trained many Australian clients in media and presentation, including Tourism Australia, Nokia, Sydney YMCA and DDB Advertising. In New Zealand, Greg has been a senior journalist in the newsrooms of TVNZ, TV3, Radio New Zealand and Newstalk ZB. He has been reporting New Zealand news for the BBC's worldwide radio audience since 1995. During 2002, Greg accompanied Prime Minister Helen Clark on a national tour, coordinating her presenting role on the Discovery Channel/Tourism New Zealand Royal Tour documentary
