PRIA's social media policy

This policy outlines the Public Relations Institute of Australia’s (PRIA) involvement with official PRIA social networks. It will guide our interaction and participation in these online spaces.

We endeavor to become a hub of information and resources to keep our community up-to-date with the latest news, events and resources. We also hope to connect members with other members and PR and communication professionals.

1. Uploads and postings

We will:

  • promote PRIA’s events and externally endorsed events
  • post and share information we deem to be of interest to our members
  • upload event photos and videos

1.2 Links

Any links PRIA posts to external websites are provided as a convenience to our community; external sites and the associated content is not under PRIA’s control. The use of such a link does not mean PRIA endorses the website. PRIA is not responsible for the content or reliability of links, or for any loss of inconvenience arising from their use.

2. Social media pages

We endeavor to maintain currency and accuracy of information of our social networks. This information is subject to change. We advise our community to check the accuracy of information.

2.2 PRIA responses

We aim to monitor our social media pages daily. Approved staff members and officers endeavor to answer any reasonable questions as quickly as possible.

Please note: PRIA’s social networks will be monitored during business hours.
