Call for abstracts and panel proposals for the 2016 PRIA Research Symposium: the PRIA research symposium will be held on Sunday, 6 November 2016 in Perth, Western Australia, in conjunction with the annual PRIA National Conference. The convener invites 500 – 800 word abstracts addressing topics related to the 2016 conference theme: Communication Innovation.

Industry led training program for rising PR stars: after a successful first season, HSPR Graduate School After Hours re-opens on March 1, 2016. Funding grants for women in media and public relations: In 2015, PRIA supported the National Industry Scholarship Grant Initiative. This initiative supported hundreds of women in achieving their goals of personal and professional development, leadership and management. This year, the initiative will provide women in the media and PR sectors with grants for leadership development. More specifically, grant applications are open to women employed in the media and PR sectors at two levels. Read more inside.
