REMINDER: Call for abstracts & panel proposals for the 2016 PRIA Research Symposium. The convener invites 500 – 800 word abstracts addressing topics related to the 2016 conference theme: Communication Innovation. Deadline: Both paper abstracts and panel proposals should be submitted via email to k.wolf@curtin.edu.au no later than Sunday, 3 April 2016 (three days away).

Webinar review, Meet the New Standards for Measurement and Evaluation: Thanks to the 150+ attendees who tuned into to listen to PRIA's Measurement and Evaluation Committee member, Carol Moore MPRIA. Results from the webinar polls indicate many practitioners believe they have a significant way to go in implementing best practice research, measurement and evaluation, with only 24% saying they meet most or all of the new standards. Key barriers you identified include client/management not perceiving value in RM&E (27%), lack of knowledge/expertise in RM&E (29%), cost/budgets (53%) and time/resources (73%).
