  • Issues and Crisis Management

If you follow Edelman's annual Trust Barometer, you'll know about the importance of trust. We now live in a consumer-led environment where people associated with brands that they believe in.

There countless examples from last year alone of how companies have not been able to safely navigate troubled waters. You see it all the time how organisations will 'stay quiet' or 'go underground' when an issue arises, but that's the worst thing you can do in such a situation.

Things go wrong, that's life, and how you react is certainly important. But even more important than that is the ability to safeguard your organisation or brand before something goes wrong. There are signs when measures need to be taken, they are plans that can be written to avoid these incidents and in this session, we'll show you how.

  • Social Media Panel

Social media is the platform of now. If digital transformed the way in which we communicate, certainly social media can be dubbed as the how.

Ten years ago there weren't such roles as community managers or insights managers. Now, our lives are consumed with social media. We check statuses, updates, comments, likes, shares, tweets and maybe one day, dislikes, thousands of times as day.

  • Video Production/Content for Web

    Content, content and more content.

Back in 2013, 'content' certainly was the buzz word for that period. But we argue that content has always been king. You can trace origins of content marketing right back through the ages. Whether it was via a Bayeux Tapestry or a recruitment poster during World War II, humanity has always been influenced by words and images we put in front of each other.

Where we are today is no different, yes, the channels may have changed and old form poster campaigns may not be the main form of communicating in 2016, yet the message and how it is delivered remains the same.

This session will bolster your skillsets around taking video content - one of the most sought after forms of content - and show you how to make yours relevant and accessible to the masses.
