Great media contacts and being able to write a high impact media release won you a promotion to manager, but to succeed in managing a team you need to delegate to others.

Learning how to work effectively with a team is a key skill for public relations managers. This one day workshop is designed for PR practitioners in account manager or team leader roles with three to five years' experience either working in consultancy or in-house.

In this course you will learn:

• Practical tools for managing your team
• When to supervise, delegate or coach
• How to develop initiative in your team
• How to run more effective WIP meetings
• How to be more productive and get more done
• How to adapt your leadership style to match the needs of your team
• How to build on the strengths and work around the weaknesses of your leadership style

Course fee includes the Everything DiSC® Workplace™report. Places are limited in this course due to the intensive nature of the course content and to allow participant discussion and feedback.

Workshop Facilitator : Amanda Little, FPRIA Amanda has more than than 20 years experience in PR consulting including half this time in senior management positions. Amanda has a BA (Comm) and MBA from UTS and has taught PR at Universities and TAFE.

At both local and international consultancies, Amanda has managed a wide range of teams and believes passionately in the training and development for pr practitioners
