PRIA Breakfast: Engaging Communities Online

Sorry - Sold out! Engaging communities online - why and how? This presentation will provide an overview of the opportunity to more fully engage communities using web based technologies to compliment more traditional methodologies. It will cover reasons to engage online, tool selection and some perils and pitfalls to look out for.

After working in and around Government in both the UK and Australia for over 15 years Matthew and his business partner Crispin Butteriss set up Bang the Table in a bid to get more of the community involved in decisions that affect their lives. 3 years later Bang the Table has hosted over 300 online engagement projects for well over 100 clients at all levels of Government, in the private sector and in NZ, Canada and the USA.
