Celebrating 41 Years of Recognising Excellence in Public Relations


The Public Relations Institute of Australia invites entries from PR and communication professionals in the 41st annual Golden Target Awards.

The Golden Target Awards are the industry’s longest-running and most prestigious Awards. This year, for the first time in the history of the Awards, the Golden Target Awards will be open to entry by non-members. The new-look Awards are now truly national, showcasing quality and creative practice across 29 categories.

A panel of Public Relations Leaders and industry sector experts assess entries in each category of the Golden Target Awards, selecting the winners, and highly commended entrants, at both the State and National level.

  • Standard entries close on Tuesday 18 July 2017 and cost $350 (for PRIA Members) or $750 (for those who are not PRIA Members)
  • Late entries close on Wednesday 9 August 2017 and cost $450 (for PRIA Members) or $850 (for those who are not PRIA Members)

    * $150 discount for ‘Small Budget Campaign', 'Pro Bono Campaign’ and ‘Small Consultancy of the Year’
    ** $300 discount for ‘Student of the Year’

In keeping with tradition, the Golden Target Awards will celebrate individual State and Territory Award winners and highly-commended entrants.

Then, on Thursday 9 November, the National Golden Target Award winners and highly commended entrants will be announced at a gala event to be held at the Sydney Opera House.
