The following terms and conditions apply to PRIA members:
All members are bound by PRIA's Constitution, code of ethics and by all laws, notices and directives of PRIA.
Failure to Accept Conditions of Membership
All members are required to indicate they accept all terms and conditions of membership. New applications and renewals will not be processed until confirmation is received.
Failure to Pay
PRIA membership fees are due annually. If a member does not pay their membership fees, their membership will lapse and they will not have access to PRIA membership benefits. If an individual's membership does lapse or is resigned, that individual must not use any PRIA post nominal or claim to be a PRIA member.
Transfer of Membership
PRIA memberships are individual and are non-transferable.
Costs Incurred by PRIA in Processing Membership Fees
If PRIA incurs any unexpected costs in processing membership fees, those costs will be charged back to that member. Costs may include but are not limited to bounced cheque fees and related bank charges.
Access to Member only Sections of PRIA's Website
As a PRIA member, you can access the members only sections of PRIA's website. You can also access your personal information and update your details. PRIA advises all members to keep their username and password information confidential.
Membership fees will not be refunded by PRIA except where:
An application for membership is declined by PRIA
Exceptional circumstances (to be determined by PRIA) prevents a member from continuing their membership
Written applications to the Membership Coordinator to be assessed on a case by case basis
Changes to this Policy
From time to time it may be necessary for us to review this policy. We reserve the right to amend this policy at any time and to notify you of any amendments by posting an updated version on our website www.pria.com.au.
