After a four-year stint, his third in 20 years, National RCG Chair, Adam Benson (FPRIA), is standing down and will be replaced by well-known industry figure Nicole Webb, the CEO of The Impact Agency.
Adam, the MD of Recognition PR, Write Away Communication + Events and B2B marketing consultancy Outsource, has been a long-time contributor to the PRIA holding roles including National Treasurer, NSW PRIA Council Member and many others.
Adam will remain involved in the RCG, supporting the incoming chair with specific projects including the development of the RCG Consultancy Management Standard, the annual RCG conference and ensuring corporate knowledge is maintained.
Adam said, "My consulting firms have grown significantly over the past few years and the demands on my time have limited my ability to drive and evolve the RCG. we are fortunate to have a well-respected, industry leader like Nicole wanting to take the reins.
"As the member group within the PRIA for consultancy CEOs, the Registered Consultancy Group represents the largest employer group of communication professionals and we directly influence the evolution of the industry as we meet market demand for new, diversified services," Adam said. "I wish Nicole every success as she brings her commercial and management skills to bear on behalf of this important group."
“On behalf of the PRIA and the RCG, I want to express my sincere thanks to Adam for his leadership and the expertise he has brought to the RCG,” said Sylvia Bell, newly elected PRIA National President. “As the retiring National Chair, Adam leaves an impressive legacy. I welcome Nicole to this role to build on Adam’s contribution and lead this important professional network”.
