The EduCom Committee is inviting expressions of interest for inclusion in the new Australian Communication and Public Relations Education Seminar Series.
The series comprises monthly informal lunchtime seminars and / or panels to discuss research and ideas relating to public relations and communication practice in Australia. The purpose of the series is to provide an ongoing opportunity for academics, students, and industry members to collaborate, share, network and learn from one another. The series provides a great opportunity to rehearse a paper, present an idea, or call for collaborative research. HDR students are encouraged to use ACPRES for feedback on their research projects and ideas.
Seminars will be held every second Wednesday of the month at 12.30pm AEST, and will be conducted online. All you need is a mobile phone/ipad/computer and a bit of time to ‘beam in’.
The series will commence on Wednesday 12 April at 12.30pm AEST with Dr Kate Ames from CQUniversity presenting on ‘Five words or 50?: Lessons from wildlife parks in social media messaging in building a profile’.
To propose a presentation or panel for one of the following months, please contact the ACPRES coordinator Dr Kate Ames (firstname.lastname@example.org), including a preferred date.
