Game-changing communication trends sets the tone for 2017

Virtual reality, live streaming and authentic story telling were hot topics for discussion at PRIA Queensland’s latest event which attracted more than 70 members and guests.

Multi-Golden Target Award winner Scott Maclean, from Perduco Consulting, joined Heather Mollins, from newly-founded Seven Communications, to provide their insights on key PR trends in 2017 and beyond.

PRIA Queensland Councillor, Cameron Tome, facilitated the lively session at Brisbane's Stock Exchange Hotel. 

Queensland President, Marie Howarth FPRIA, was delighted by the mid-week turn out.

"It's clear that PRIA functions that enable our members to learn and develop, while also having time to network, really add value," she said.

"I hope to see quite a few of the guests who attended the function nominating to become PRIA Members."

The next Queensland event will be a breakfast event at Torrens University, on 16 February, when James Wright, CEO of Red Agency and COO of Havas Creative Group, Australia, presents an insightful, thought-provoking and, at times, downright scary overview of what PR can expect from the Experience Age.
