For a third consecutive year, Wieck Australasia will again give further insight into what the media wants and what public relations practitioners provide.

Contribute via Wieck's survey today and find out the 2015 PR Perceptions vs Media Realities survey results, which will be released at the PRIA 2015 National Conference, next month, in Hobart.

According to Warren Kirby, CEO of Wieck Australasia, the 2015 survey has a few added elements and new twists. "The 2014 survey revealed some interesting insights into social usage and hinted at strategies some journalists are using to cope with the ever increasing amount of PR material. This year we’re digging a little deeper to find out what PRs can do to become a real asset for the media, and by extension, their clients," Kirby said.

“The industry is moving so fast that although only a year has passed, so much has happened, or in some case, not happened.

"Knowing how PRs see themselves is vital to completing our understanding of what’s going on. We encourage as many members as possible to contribute, after all they’re the ones with the most to gain," he concluded.
