PRIA PD: How to Crack a Strategy - Sydney

Being able to develop a compelling, actionable strategy is an important step in every PR person's career. Susan Redden Makatoa, PRIA Fellow, Golden Target Awards winner and Managing Director of Capable Comms, will lead this half-day session. The workshop will combine theory in memorable, easy-to-grasp terms with practical exercises to put this knowledge into action. Every participant will come away with a robust, step-by-step process that is flexible enough to use for consumer, corporate, public affairs, and specialty strategies.

  • Step-by-step process to creating a compelling communication strategy
  • A template that will work for verbal, PowerPoint and written strategies

ABOUT THE TRAINER

Susan Redden Makatoa FPRIA

Susan is one of Australia’s leading corporate communication practitioners and is passionate about developing the skills and reputation of our industry. She is Managing Director of Capable Comms, which works with in-house and agency teams to build their capability. Susan is also Division Director, Corporate at Temple Executive Search, where she focuses on finding outstanding senior candidates for Temple's corporate clients. She is a PRIA Fellow, winner of eight Golden Targets and winner of the PRIA President's Award for Major Industry Contribution in 2016. Susan is a former Group Managing Director at Ogilvy PR, partner at SenateSHJ and held senior roles at ASIC and the NSW Business Chamber.
