PRIA QLD: Communicating for Success on a Multi-Billion Dollar Project

Cross River Rail will unlock a bottleneck at the core of our transport network, forever changing the way people move around the river city.

The project will see the creation of a new underground train line, allowing more trains to run more often and integrate with new busways and new roads to provide a ‘turn-up-and-go’ transport system for the whole of south-east Queensland.

Key to building Brisbane’s own ‘subway’ is the creation of five new, high-capacity stations at inner-city locations, which will provide direct access to more places of work, study and recreation.

Join Cross River Rail Delivery Authority General Manager Strategy, Communications & Engagement, Matthew Martyn-Jones, as he explains the plan for delivering one of Queensland’s biggest and most challenging transport projects.

Matthew will take you through the key communication challenges and opportunities for the project, the strategy to engage the broader community and the role that digital technology plays in communication.

PRIA boardroom lunches are an opportunity to hear from and ask questions of leaders in industry in an intimate and relaxed lunch setting.
