PRIA VIC: Why communicators sometimes don’t communicate

Estimates indicate that 40% of our audience don’t fit the English literate profile.

That means you are probably not communicating effectively, or at all, with nearly half of your potential audience.

It’s easy to neglect that our target audiences come from everywhere, with widely varying vocabularies and language skills, different cultural presumptions and perceptions, an array of abilities, disabilities, vision and hearing issues, and cognitive issues.

It’s vital for professional communicators to accommodate all of this to be fully effective.

Andrea Cooper, PRIA’s guest speaker, has built a business around understanding this.

She has been a leader in creating techniques and approaches to assess and tailor communications strategies to communicate to the full array of audiences.

This is especially important for Government communicators.

But she believes that all communicators can have their antenna sharpened to better tailor a message to hit the maximum audience with accessible meaning.

How to do this?

Andrea will unpack her skills and experience and step you through some key processes for understanding and meeting the challenge.

This will be a key opportunity for you to take your craft and profession a step higher and spread the word a lot more broadly.

Join us at the this special PRIA Breakfast event!
